Job Description

The Planner is responsible for updating and controlling the various project activities in accordance with the project schedule. He/she is also responsible for the preparation, submission and planning of documentation acceptance by the client; namely the PVP6 baseline, its programme, and monthly S-curve, progress report. The Planner reports directly to the Project Manager/Project Director on project scheduling and planning matters. He/she shall provide timeline direction to the project teams and timely updates to the project. Manager for his overall coordination, particularly on critical paths. Being the admin representative, he/she shall also cover project administrative roles, as per the contractual needs of the client.

Duties & Responsibilities:
 Responsible for effective and efficient project planning and tracking using Primavera P6 software.
 Support Project Manager/Project Director by providing a detailed schedule and update teams on critical paths.
 Lead project planning and management activities, overseeing and handling all aspects of PVP6 activities on-site from initiation to completion.
 Monthly programme updates, preparation and submission of respective S-curve reports, and overall progress reports to Client.
 Ensuring customer satisfaction (develop and maintain project schedules).
 Track and monitor project schedules against project baselines.
 Assist in tender stage project planning and submission.
 Attend meetings as and when required, coordinate with project teams on the impact of works, and on resolution of problems.
 Maintain respective project documentation in accordance with Client and Internal documentation needs, in the shared folders.
 Prepare simple letters, for DAR document submission, submission of project documents via the Client documentation system, etc.
 Assist the respective project team to track and monitor the project budget.
 Participate in pre-sales activities when required

Job Requirements

Diploma in an engineering field or Information Technology.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Professional knowledge, experience and familiarity with Oracle Primavera P6 is required.
Experience in communication systems preferred.
Experience in LTA projects is preferred.
Knowledge in ISO9001:2015.
Knowledge in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit and Navisworks will be of advantage.
Good interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates independent and creative thinking when performing problem-solving initiatives.
Highly motivated, dependable and self-reliant, work well under the pressure of deadlines.
Demonstrates an ability to work in an environment where calculated risk-taking is necessary.
