Senior QA Engineer

• Lead and mentor the QA team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Provide training and skill development programs to uplift QA team members’ technical and domain expertise.
• Design and implement test automation strategies tailored to diverse project requirements.
• Develop, document, and execute QA strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Build and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
• Design performance test plans, execute performance testing, and analyze results to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process.
• Identify, log, and track defects, participating actively in defect triage sessions with stakeholders.
• Oversee test management activities, including execution and reporting of test progress and results.
• Maintain and update the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure all requirements are adequately tested.
• Support the integration of testing processes within Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Act as a key contributor in driving product quality, ensuring alignment with best practices in Quality Assurance.
• Stay updated with the latest QA trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation within the team.

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in quality assurance and testing, including 4–5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing for web portals, APIs, and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, TestNG, and Rest-Assured.
• Strong programming skills in Java, TypeScript and Python.
• Experience with performance testing tools like Gatling and JMeter.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), code review workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Secure Hybrid Integration Pipeline (SHIP) and Hive Agile Testing Solutions (HATS) is a plus.
• Methodologies: Deep understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and the ability to work effectively in iterative development cycles.
• Certifications (Preferred): Certified Tester Foundation Level (ISTQB-CTFL), Certified Software Testing Professional, Certified Software Quality Analyst, or CREST certification.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Advantageous Knowledge: Experience in security testing and working knowledge of DevOps practices will be beneficial.
