We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team for a key government project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting database systems, ensuring their optimal performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide operational support for MS SQL databases, including installation,
hardening, upgrading, and patching.
• Manage and maintain database platforms on both Windows and UNIX servers.
• Oversee backup processes and EMC storage solutions.
• Support additional database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgresDB, and
OracleDB.
• Develop and execute acceptance test plans and test cases to ensure system
integrity and performance.
• Potentially lead training sessions for clients and peers to enhance their
understanding and usage of database systems.
