Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team for a key government project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting database systems, ensuring their optimal performance, security, and reliability.
Job Requirements
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support for MS SQL databases, including installation,
- hardening, upgrading, and patching.
- Manage and maintain database platforms on both Windows and UNIX servers.
- Oversee backup processes and EMC storage solutions.
- Support additional database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgresDB, and
- OracleDB.
- Develop and execute acceptance test plans and test cases to ensure system
- integrity and performance.
- Potentially lead training sessions for clients and peers to enhance their
- understanding and usage of database systems.
