Senior Project Manager (Electrical Engineering)

Job Description
  • Overall responsible for managing the project team to meet or exceed customer contractual requirements for the delivery of the project.
  • Develop, update and maintain the project plan and schedule.
  • Manage the project scope, monitor project costing and forecasts, and develop/ maintain the project quality plan.
  • Responsible for developing and updating the project risk management plan, and project team organization chart; planning and performing project communications/reporting.
  • Work together with Sales Team to manage project procurement.
  • Manage the communications, reporting, and expectations of internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Supervising project team members including Solution Architect, Technical Lead, Developers/System Engineers, Testers and Support Engineers.
  • Ensure to fulfill specific project scope and responsibilities by working closely with Product Specialists, Technical Subject Matter Experts and System Engineers that support the Project Team
  • Involve in pre-sales activities, focusing on the technical solution, effort and timeline estimation and project delivery aspects of the tender/RFP proposal/presentation.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • Must have at least 8 years of working experience as a Project Manager with experience delivering railway communication-related projects such as PA systems, CCTV, Information display systems, and Network infrastructure.
  • Good experience in managing LTA railway and Singapore Government projects.
  • Knowledge and experience in the following technology areas will be advantageous:
  • 1. BIM modelling/Micro-station 3D CAD
  • 2. Primavera P6 Scheduling
  • Project Management Certifications such as PMP are preferred.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills – ability to build good relationship with external customers, vendors and colleagues.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, reporting of project and deployment progress and plan.
  • A good team player with strong leadership qualities.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, organized and ability to work independently with priorities.
  • Ability to work under tight timeline, in a complex customer environment .
