- The Telecommunication Engineer (or Systems Engineer) to work inside of the railway communication infrastructure area, to develop and deploy communication transport solutions (fixed and radio) for large international railway projects.
- Main Tasks:
- Analysis of project requirements and propose the solutions accordingly.
- Development of system technical specifications.
- Development of system architectures and integration with 3rd parties' systems.
- Technical interface with customers and other contractors.
- Realization of testing and commissioning works on-site.
- Network troubleshooting for both wired and wireless systems.
- Technical support to systems once into operation after commissioning.
- On-site testing and commissioning.
Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 6 years experience working on various communication systems technologies such as fibre-optic transmissions, digital trunked radio, public address and telephony, CCTV surveillance, access management and travel information systems.
Experience in implementing railway-related projects for LTA.
Experience in writing technical proposals and presentations.
Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Willing to work outside of prime office hours as required.
Self-motivated and Service oriented.
Able to work independently with minimum guidance.
