- Work with internal and external parties on IT technical solutions and solution implementations
- Support application software configuration, programming, enhancement and testing based on changing business requirements
- Maintain VDC environments, firewalls, load balancers and security systems.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise network and virtual environments
- Participate in workshop/meeting to capture and analyse software and system requirements
- Participate in Disaster Recovery(DR) and CAB(Change Advisory Board) exercises
- Perform any other adhoc activities as requested by immediate supervisor
Diploma in IT/Computer Scienc/ Engineering or Electrical/Electronics & Communications Engineering, InfoComm Technology.
At least 2 years relevant experience working in telecommunications or multimedia engineering would be an advantage.
Knowledge in Cloud computing, VMware VDC, firewall and load balancer, networking and security.
Knowledge in Tableau, Jasper or development of dashboard and reports.
Knowledge in programming languages, such as: Python, Java, Shell scripting
Knowledge in MySQL, PostgreSQL DBs
Knowledge in Linux or Windows operating system
Knowledge of SDLC and Agile development methodologies (Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD).
Knowledge with the ELK Stack ElasticSearch, LogStash, Kibana and Kafka would be an advantage.
Knowledge automation, containerisation, and orchestration using tools such as GitHub, Ansible, Jira etc. would be an advantage.
