Job Description
- Manage project & work closely with engineering on GPON/XGSPON project implementation to realise and ensure faultfree service rollout to customers & network infrastructure.
- Manage commissioning of new OLT to meet project timeline.
- Manage and liaise with vendors, engineering and operation teams on fault simulation investigation, and problem analysis.
- Manage, maintain, and enhance inhouse broadband servers including but not limited to security patches, and OS update.
- Accessing and managing firewall policies via the command line interface
- Analyse and review the vulnerability scan & security report for inhouse servers.
- Liaise and coordinate with internal stake holders, equipment and service providers and partners to ensure swift and efficient resolution of faults.
- Monitor and take remedial action on proactively and reactively detected services and network infrastructure faults till closure.
- Mange the operation issues, escalate chronic/technically complex cases to the Vendors and followup till closure.
- Documenting all Incidents and events through Incident ticketing system.
- Identify areas of improvements to reduce Infrastructure faults and improve monitoring capability.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance like network device hardware and software upgrade
- Any other tasks assigned by the manager.
Job Requirements
- A completed diploma from a reputable Polytechnic.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Selfstarter and highly driven with the ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
- Goal oriented with good analytical skill, committed to deliver high quality outputs, effectively utilized team member to his/her full potential and motivates the team to work together in the most efficient manner.
