Job Description
  • Perform installation and maintenance support for Singtel’s highvalue segment customers and related products, ensuring excellent field service experience.

  • Deliver onsite support for Singtel’s domestic copper and fibre transmission networks and services, including but not limited to ISDN, Ethernet, GPON, MetroEthernet, Gigawave, and WiFi.
  • Ensure service excellence by meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets for service delivery and restoration in alignment with product guidelines and customer contracts.
  • Adhere strictly to workplace safety procedures in compliance with the Work Health and Safety Act (WHSA), and use appropriate safety equipment to carry out tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Follow operational procedures, including obtaining customer signoff on the Service Report Form (SRF) upon job completion.
  • Operate effectively in various environments such as restricted sites (e.g., military zones), hospitals, data centres, commercial buildings, and HDB MDF rooms.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., GOSA, TAC, support teams) and customers to complete assigned tasks efficiently and within stipulated timelines.
  • Provide timely and accurate updates in delivery workflow and ticketing systems for work orders, fault resolution, and routine maintenance.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma in Computer, IT, Engineer or Customer Service. Additional technical certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Field Engineer or in a similar technical support role, preferably within the home/office networking, telecommunications, or green technology sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge in data communications (wired and wireless), internet security, and home automation systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to nontechnical users clearly and effectively.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service, with strong customer engagement and handling abilities.
  • Proficient in English; bilingual abilities are an added advantage.
  • Selfmotivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and maintain performance under pressure.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and sound decisionmaking abilities.
  • Adaptable to various work environments and customer requirements, with a collaborative mindset to work well in team settings.
